Lassiter Cross Country Coaches
Ed Hutcherson: Head Coach
Ed Hutcherson has been teaching in Cobb County
schools for 30 years, and has been at Lassiter High School
for 28 years since it opened. Coach Hutcherson went to college at the University of Memphis where he earned degrees in
both, Education and Park Management. At Lassiter he teaches Health and is

Jim Reichenbach : Assistant Coach
Jim Reichenbach has been with the Lassiter Cross Country team as an assistant coach for 11 years. He earned a
Bachelors of Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from The Ohio State
University. He attended Georgia
State for his Teacher
certification courses. Coach Reichenbach also served in the military
with the Air Force, which he retired from later. At Lassiter he teaches math

Lindsay Doyle : Assistant Coach
Coach Doyle joined
the coaching staff in 2008. She graduated from the University of Florida
with a degree in Exercise Physiology. She is currently pursuing a Masters
in Education from Georgia
State University
in Secondary Science Education. Coach Doyle is a triathlete and marathon
runner looking for a PR in the Chicago Marathon this fall. She will
teach Biology and Physics at Lassiter. Coach Doyle is also a Lassiter

Dave Melissas : Community Coach
Dave Melissas has
been with the Lassiter Cross Country team since 2006. He has also coached three youth
running teams. He earned a
Bachelor of Science in Commerce from Rider
College and an Executive MBA from Purdue University. He works as an IT Project Manager for
UPS. He was a NCAA Division I
scholarship athlete at Rider
College where he was a
team captain and the first 12-time varsity letter recipient in the
school’s history. He was
sponsored by Reebok for 7 years.
